How to Care:

  • Cleaning

    • Wipe down the raincoat with a damp cloth after each use. You can use a mild soap solution if the raincoat is very dirty.

    • TPU is generally resistant to most chemicals, but avoid using harsh cleaners or solvents as they can damage the material.

  • Drying

    • Hang the raincoat to dry in a cool, well-ventilated place. Avoid drying it in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this can damage the TPU film.

    • You can also pat the raincoat with a dry towel to remove excess water before hanging it to dry.

  • Storage

    • When not in use, store the raincoat in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight, as this can cause the TPU film to become brittle over time.

    • You can fold the raincoat or hang it on a hanger. Avoid storing it folded for long periods of time, as this can create creases in the TPU film.

  • Additional tips

    • If your raincoat has any stains, you can try to remove them with a stain remover specifically designed for TPU. Test the stain remover on a small inconspicuous area of the raincoat first to make sure it does not damage the material.

    • Over time, TPU can become cloudy or lose its transparency. You can try to restore its clarity by wiping it down with a solution of water and vinegar.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

  • TPU is a relatively durable material, but it can be punctured or scratched. Be careful not to snag the raincoat on sharp objects.

  • TPU is not flame-resistant. Avoid exposing the raincoat to open flames or sparks.
