Customers can create a cohesive look by matching the handle color to the bag's lining or exterior.  Alternatively, a bolder approach using contrasting colors like orange and green can create a unique statement piece.

How to Care:

General Care:

  • Spot Cleaning: For everyday cleaning, use a damp microfiber cloth to gently wipe away dirt or dust. Avoid using excessive water, as leather can absorb moisture and lose its shape.

  • Conditioning: To maintain the leather's suppleness and prevent cracking, recommend conditioning the handles every 3-6 months with a high-quality leather conditioner specifically formulated for vegetable-tanned leather. (Note: Advise testing the conditioner on a hidden area of the handle first to ensure no discoloration occurs.)

  • Storage: When not in use, store the handles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Sunlight can fade leather, while heat can dry it out.

Metal Hardware Care:

  • Polishing: For light tarnishing on the metal clasps, recommend using a soft polishing cloth to gently buff the surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.

  • Prevention: To minimize tarnishing, advise storing the handles in a sealed plastic bag when not in use.

Additional Tips:

  • For stubborn stains, recommend consulting a professional leather cleaning service.

  • Advise customers to avoid overstuffing bags attached to the handles, as this can put strain on the leather and clasps.

  • In case of accidental spills, recommend blotting the affected area with a clean, absorbent cloth immediately. Do not rub, as this may spread the stain.
